9-DEC-2003: tsbutils release 0.4 is now available for download. Release 0.4 includes fixes to tsbdecode's floating point number decoding and spacing, courtesy of Pete Turnbull.
tsbutils can be used to extract programs and data files from HP 2000 Access Time Shared BASIC hibernate, sleep, or dump tapes, and to decode these files into human-readable form. tsbutils has been (minimally) tested under Red Hat Linux 9, but should work with only minor changes on other systems.
tsbutils includes the tapeio library from tapeutils, allowing access to local and remote tape drives as well as tape image files.
tsbutils is distributed under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's General Public License, Version 2. If you agree to the terms of the license, you may download them.
tsbextract is used to extract the files from a TSB tape or tape image.
tsbdecode is used to decode a TSB program or file (as extracted by tsbextract) into human-readable form.
